Thundering Mondays - Buenos Aires, Argentina

If you love quirky, then Buenos Aires is for you. From the Sunday Flea Market on Plaza Dorrego to the spreading popularity of "secret" restaurants, this is a city that embraces a bohemian atmosphere.

Buenos Aires is the home of tango but if your feet are torn to pieces after a gruelling three hour class, then slip on your trainers and head under the arches at Ciudad Cultural Konex on a Monday night. La Bomba de Tiempo, is an explosive percussion night which draws a massive, young, offbeat crowd to dance the start of the week blues away.

Strictly, the night starts at 19.00 but get there early because the party starts in the long queue as soon as the Quilmes seller with his bucket appears.
